On the way to the park where we do the activity we might have the chance to find sloths in trees on the side of the road, of course we’re sloths are happy a lot of other wildlife love to be. La Fortuna area has lot more animals to see such as leaf cutter ants, poisonous diurnal frogs like the Blue Jeans Poison Dart Frog, innumerable birds like Toucans, MotMot, Jacamar, some prehistoric looking lizards like the Jesus Christ Lizard, all of which your guide will help you spot. Often we will be able to get some good up and close viewing with our guides sighting scopes. We also love to share our culture, great experiences that will allow you to have a great idea of Costa Rican life by extracting some fresh sugar cane juice and also making your own tortilla on a very traditional way that will make you all feel welcome.
