The Arles Arena is a Roman amphitheatre built around 80-90 AD. BC by the orders of the emperor Domitian, as part of the Flavian extensions of the city. In Arles, as in the whole of the West, the amphitheatre is, from the end of the 1st to the middle of the 3rd century, the most obvious sign of Romanization.

The Saint-Paul-de-Mausole monastery is a Provencal Romanesque style monastery from the 11th century located in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in Provence in the French department of Bouches-du-Rhône in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. [1]. A masterpiece of Provencal Romanesque art dedicated to Saint Paul de Mausole, it has been classified as a historic monument since 1883[2] and is famous for having hosted and inspired the Dutch post-impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) who stayed there for a year in 1889-1890 to paint a major part of his work.
Saint-Remy-de-Provence
  • 1h
A major place of culture and history, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence alone concentrates all the charm of the Provençal art of living, attracting celebrities and anonymous people who come to recharge their batteries here. Like many artists, stroll along the shaded boulevards, the narrow streets of the historic centre and the small squares decorated with fountains.
Les Baux de Provence
  • 2h
The prestigious Cité des Baux-de-Provence, perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking sumptuous millennia-old landscapes planted with vines and olive trees as far as the eye can see, belongs to the restricted circle of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. It offers pretty cobbled streets lined with Renaissance mansions which run up to the Château esplanade. The town has 22 architectural elements classified as Historic Monuments. Among them, the fortress, a unique testimony to the rich and tumultuous history of the City in the Middle Ages. Its strong cultural and heritage identity, known throughout the world, makes Baux-de-Provence “the beacon of Provence”.
