What you can expect

Artist Frob welcomes you to his home/studio on the Crozon peninsula for a creative stay. On the beach, at the foot of the unspoiled coastal trails, you will learn to draw and paint in watercolour with the artist. In small groups, Frob will accompany you into his Breton artistic world. An active getaway from which you will leave with your mind full of images and a well-filled sketchbook.
You can choose between a day package without accommodation and a 2-day package with accommodation and meals included.
With the 2-day package, you will be accommodated in a comfortable house 150 metres from the beach where the artist works. This all-inclusive artistic stay includes accommodation, 3 meals (1 breakfast, 2 lunches, 1 dinner), and drawing/sketching/painting classes.

The 2-day programme (€1,200) is as follows:
Day 1: 8:30 AM: Welcome with coffee/tea and introductions – 9:30 AM > 12:00 PM: Outdoor photo walk – 12:30 PM > 2:00 PM: Lunch break – 3:00 PM > 6:00 PM: Sketching/watercolour class outdoors or in the studio – 7:00 PM > 8:30 PM: Dinner.
Day 2: 7:30 AM > 8:30 AM: breakfast – 9:30 AM > 12:00 PM: drawing/sketching class – 12:30 PM > 2:00 PM: lunch break – 3:00 PM > 6:00 PM: drawing/watercolour class – 7:00 PM: farewell/end of the workshop.

The full-day programme (€230) is structured as follows:
8:30 AM: Welcome with coffee/tea and introductions – 9:30 AM > 12:00 PM: Outdoor photo walk – 12:30 PM > 2:00 PM: Lunch break (meal not included) – 3:00 PM > 6:00 PM: Drawing/watercolour class – 7:00 PM: Farewell/end of the workshop.

You arrive and depart from Frob's place. The artist then introduces you to the artistic day and takes you to their secret places for a photographic walk. Your photos will serve as the basis for your sketching and then watercolour work. You will create studies and sketches in a sketchbook. This work is therefore yours, and the artist accompanies you, guides you, and advises you. If you choose the full 2-day programme, you spend the evening and night at the artist's home and with the artist, then you sleep in a single room (1 or 2 people). Depending on the size of the groups, the bathroom is either private or shared.

The artist takes care of you, as the painting materials (as well as sheets and towels for the 2-day package) are included.
Sets of paper, watercolours, and pencils are provided, but you can also bring your own materials.
For the sake of comfort and quality of learning, groups are small and limited to a maximum of 5 participants. The lessons take place in the studio or outdoors depending on the changing weather conditions.
