What you can expect

Welcome to Tokyo, Japan!

When you have the opportunity to come to Tokyo, we hope you will not only enjoy sightseeing, but also try very Japanese activities.

How about experience both of the tea ceremony and making Wagashi, a Japanese sweets named Nerikiri, a kind of Mochi sweets at an antique store famous among the local Japanese?

Unlike a generic Tea Ceremony or Japanese sweets making experience held in an apartment building room, this experience is taken place in a century-old antique store, which is like a hideaway, hidden gem.
That was one reason our work was featured on CNN.

When you arrive at our store, please take your time to look at the antique tableware first.

Once you have settled in, let's start Japanese sweets, Wagashi experience.

Wagashi in this experiences is called “Nerikiri,” and the main ingredient is Mochi flour.
Our Wagashi forming experience is an easy and fun one, just like colourful clay work, in which we form several coloured materials to create a target figure.

Using a variety of coloured materials, let's form into the day's theme design, just like colourful clay works.

Even if you have little experience in creative activities or cooking, we will carefully guide you through the process.

Delicately form the coloured dough into various shapes by hand, and carefully add lines with tools to perfectly portray “the seasonal beauty of Japan”.

Next, move on to a dedicated tea room, experience a tea ceremony while eating your own Wagashi.
In our tea ceremony experience, the room itself is designed to be experienced sitting in a chair.

Once you are settled, you’ll then be served by host with confection followed by (not sweet) real Matcha.

We would “love” to answer your any types of questions.
These conversations are important part the tea ceremony.
The more guests ask, the more tea ceremony will enrich.

【note】
Please understand previously that the host of this experience is not a commercial type of person, but a Japanese artisan. And usually, Japanese real artisan does not speak English well honestly. But we will do our best to make you enjoy this experience.
