Know before you book

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your session time. Late entry is not permitted.
  • Concession is for Seniors Card-holders (all states), International Seniors ages 60+, International Student Card-holders, Australian Student Card-holders, Centrelink Healthcare Card-holders, Australian Government Pension Card-holders, and Australian Veterans’ Affairs Card-holders) - valid ID required
  • Most of the exhibition is suitable for all ages. However, there is a small area within the exhibition dedicated to erotic ceramics for which parental discretion is advised due to highly explicit sexual content.
  • There's no defined dress code for this exhibition, appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times while visiting the Australian Museum.
  • Food and drinks are not permitted in our galleries or exhibition spaces to ensure the preservation of our important collections.
  • No pets are allowed. The Australian Museum welcomes guide dogs and companion dogs. A water bowl is kept at the Admissions desk.
  • Feel free to take photos and share them, although no flash or commercial photography is allowed. When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb other customers. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted.
