Overview

Chicken & beer is an obsession in Korea. You must experience this in the most immersive way possible before leaving Seoul.

Go to three vastly different chicken restaurants and pubs that only locals know about. Each place has its storey.

The first stop is an old school '90s style chicken “hof” to kick off the evening with different flavours of fried chicken and frosty beer.

After walking through the whole market, duck into a cosy country inn type of pub for some smoky barbecued chicken.

Then trek back through the market to a secret find that features a modern sizzling take on Korean chicken with a spicy gochujang sauce, smothered in cheese. After toasting with beers served in authentic military canteen cups while enjoying the atmosphere of the tavern, decorated with the owner's collection of WWII memorabilia.
