Enjoy your first scuba diving experience in one of the most fascinating places in the world: Parco Archeologico Sommerso di Baia.
This “Try Scuba” experience is designed for those who have no experience but dream of breathing underwater and discovering a whole new world. After a short introductory briefing, you will be accompanied step by step by a certified instructor who will guide you throughout the dive.
Once in the water, you will explore a genuine underwater archaeological site: Roman villas, mosaics, and statues lying on the seabed, surrounded by a unique environment teeming with marine life.
The Sea Point diving centre has been operating in the diving industry for over 30 years and has been authorised to access the Underwater Archaeological Park since the Baia Marine Protected Area was established. Their in-depth knowledge of the site ensures a safe, high-quality experience.
The facility is located right on the Baia pier, with an inflatable boat moored in front of the diving centre: convenient and stress-free access, especially ideal for first-time divers.

How it works
After the welcome, you will receive a simple and clear briefing to learn the basics of underwater breathing and communication. You will then put on your gear and board the inflatable boat, which is moored directly in front of the dive centre. A short boat ride will take you to the Baia Underwater Archaeological Park. Once at the site, you will enter the water gradually, always accompanied by your instructor. The dive lasts about 25–30 minutes, while the total experience lasts about 2 hours.
