This spectacular tour is made up of three parts and will first show you examples of medieval architecture in Baku from the 12th century, followed by more recent architectural developments.
The excursion will begin by the entrance gates to Gosha Gala Gapisi in the Old City. The Old City is a UNESCO world-heritage listed site and is almost an open-air museum with many sights to see.
After that, you will get to see some of the 19th and 20th-Century buildings in the city, which are mainly linked to the oil boom and the history of the Russian Empire. The final part of the tour discusses the Soviet occupation of Azerbaijan and life in Baku today.
All the key parts in the old city are covered during the Baku tour, such as the Maiden Tower, Juma Mosque, and Shirvansah's Palace, along with a Funicular ticket.
