introductory class, learn the basics of metalsmithing and make your very own piece of silver jewellery using traditional techniques. This is a great beginner's class and an excellent introduction to making silver jewellery for children and adults (age 7+). You will work with wire or sheet to design and make your own piece of jewellery. The 2 hours class will allow you to go more into detail with your designs and give it a stunning finish.

Class sizes are small, with no more than 6 students at a time to allow one-on-one time with the tutors. With the techniques you are shown, you will be able to make 1 piece of jewellery from silver to take home with you.

If you have an idea or inspiration for a piece of jewellery to make, you are welcome to bring it.
Everything else that you need will be provided.

General Information
All general materials are included in the cost of the class, including 5 grams of silver.
Extra silver will be charged based on market value. The classes are taught by expert silversmiths from Indonesia who have years of professional experience in jewellery making. There is a class assistant to help who is knowledgeable about techniques and can translate any questions you might have. The teachers are friendly, knowledgeable and very happy to help.
