What you can expect

  • Skip the early-morning wake-up and discover Mount Batur in the afternoon on a scenic shared 4x4 Jeep adventure. After pickup from your hotel, travel towards the volcanic landscape of Kintamani and enjoy the changing scenery along the way. Upon reaching the Mount Batur area, meet your professional Jeep driver and begin your journey through the volcanic surroundings.

    Your first stop is Bukit Batu Viewpoint, offering views of Mount Abang, Lake Batur, and Mount Agung surrounded by Bali's natural landscape. Along the route, pass local farms and see the area's traditional agricultural scenery. Continue to the Black Lava field, formed by historic volcanic eruptions, and explore the rugged landscape by Jeep. As the afternoon progresses, head towards the higher Black Sand area and enjoy the changing colours of the volcanic scenery as the sun sets.

    Complete your experience with a relaxing visit to the natural hot springs (if you choose the hot spring options), where you can unwind in warm volcanic water surrounded by the Mount Batur landscape. After the hot springs, enjoy transport back to your hotel, bringing your Mount Batur sunset experience to an end.
