What you can expect

Learn about traditional Balinese culture with a local guide on a tour from Ubud. Visit Taro Village, take part in a spiritual ceremony, and visit the Penglukatan Semara Ratih Temple to bathe in the holy spring waters.

First, visit Taro Village, where you will learn about traditional Balinese culture and make a ceremonial offering. Take part in the spiritual ceremony, called “Melukat” or Purification Ritual, and learn how to make an offering with your guide's wife or mother.

After the ceremonial offering, continue to the Semara Ratih Temple, known for its holy spring waters and unique swimming structure. Give gratitude for entering this sacred space and be guided through the ancient Hindu prayer process before entering the temple.

Bathe with the locals under the holy spring. The cool water has healing properties, and after swimming in the holy spring, you are guaranteed to feel rejuvenated and fresh.
