What you can expect

Depart from Calgary, Canmore, or Banff and travel to Banff National Park, the first national park in Canada and the third in the world. With its rich heritage, Banff is one of the most awe-inspiring mountain destinations to explore.

Spanning 6,641 square kilometres of rugged mountainous terrain, the park is filled with breathtaking scenic valleys, towering peaks, ancient glaciers, lush forests, vibrant meadows, and winding rivers.

Pass by Castle Mountain and learn the interesting facts about how it was named and renamed. Continue to Yoho National Park, where its towering peaks form part of the continental divide of North America, while the valley shows the result of ancient glacial activity.

Stop at the Lower Spiral Tunnel, which is situated along the TransCanada Highway, which connects Banff to Yoho. Continue to Emerald Lake, a must-see in Yoho National Park.

Visit the impressive Natural Bridge, an impressive natural rock formation carved by the forces of nature and the passage of time. See the Victoria Glacier, which stands beside Lake Louise, silently feeding and nurturing Lake Louise, and sustaining the beauty of the lake through the ages.

Arrive at Lake Louise, the “Jewel of the Canadian Rockies”, an alpine lake famous for its mesmerising turquoise water. Take a walk along the lakeshore or enjoy light refreshments in the historic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Next, visit Moraine Lake, nestled at the Valley of Ten Peaks. Moraine Lake never fails to fascinate visitors with its serenity and grace. Distinct from the green waters of Emerald Lake and Lake Louise, Moraine Lake has an azure blue too beautiful to be real.
