Day 1: Lake Louise to Icefields Parkway (Banff Pick-Up Included)
Visit the iconic blue lakes of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake (seasonal), then journey along the Icefields Parkway, offering breathtaking views of peaks, glaciers, rivers, and turquoise lakes. Watch for wildlife like bears, moose, and elk as we stop at Crowfoot Glacier, Peyto Lake, and Mistaya Canyon. We’ll end the day at a rustic wilderness hostel with a dip in the sauna, a campfire under the stars, and a home-cooked potluck dinner with fellow travellers.
Day 2: Icefields Parkway to Banff
Explore Jasper National Park! Stop at Big Bend Lookout for a view of the North Saskatchewan River Valley, then visit the Columbia Icefield, the largest icefield in the Rockies (325 sq km), where we’ll hike to the toe of the Athabasca Glacier (conditions permitting). Afterwards, we’ll stop at Sunwapta Falls (parking permitting) and Athabasca Falls, known for its dramatic beauty. The day ends in Banff, nestled in the heart of the Rockies.
Day 3: Banff Free Day
A free day in Banff—go hiking, explore the town, or sample local breweries and restaurants. Optional activities (extra cost) include whitewater rafting, canoeing, or mountain biking. Our guide can help with suggestions for the best activities.
Day 4: Banff to Revelstoke
Say goodbye to the Rockies and head to Revelstoke. We’ll stop at scenic spots like Takakkaw Falls (seasonal), Emerald Lake, and the Natural Bridge. In Revelstoke, unleash your inner adventurer at the Aerial Adventure Park or race down the Pipe Mountain Coaster, an adrenaline-pumping ride. Enjoy a relaxed evening in Revelstoke, sharing stories from the day’s adventures.
Day 5: Revelstoke to Whistler
Leave Revelstoke for the world-renowned resort town of Whistler, with stunning views of mountains, forests, and lakes along the way. Upon arrival, Whistler’s vibrant nightlife awaits, and the majestic Coast Mountains provide the perfect backdrop for the evening.
Day 6: Whistler to Vancouver
Travel from Whistler to Vancouver along the scenic Sea to Sky Highway. First, stop at the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre in Whistler to learn about local Indigenous communities. Admire the towering Stawamus Chief near Squamish, a world-class climbing destination, and visit Brandywine Falls, a dramatic 230-foot waterfall.
