Begin your adventure with a pickup from Ketapang Port, hotels near Banyuwangi City, or Banyuwangi City train station. Travel for 1.5 hours to the Paltuding car park in Ijen. Undergo a health check at a nearby clinic before beginning the climb.

Be briefed and provided with climbing equipment such as lamps, gas masks, and goggles. Begin your climb at 2:00 a.m., covering approximately 3-3.8 km and taking 1-2 hours to reach the summit.

After enjoying the natural beauty of Mount Ijen with its turquoise crater lake (if you're lucky, you might even see Api biru) and watching the sunrise, return to the Paltuding car park for a rest and coffee break, then descend to the drop-off point.
