Chocolate Amatller is the oldest brand in Barcelona. Since 1797, it has preserved a legacy where art and chocolate merge in each of its creations.

Born in the heart of the city, today you can immerse yourself in its history in the same place where it all began: in El Born, an emblematic area for its rich history and gastronomy, just a few metres from its origin, in Plaça de les Olles.

Enjoy a unique 40-minute experience where history, tradition and chocolate come together. Through an audiovisual presentation you will travel back to the 18th century to learn about the origins of Chocolate Amatller and its legacy in the city of Barcelona.

To continue, we will teach you to taste chocolate with the five senses through a personalised kit, discovering flavours, aromas and textures of the most iconic chocolates of our brand: Flors and Hojas Finas.

Then you will experience the elaboration of cocoa with your own hands as Gabriel Amatller did in the 19th century in the heart of Barcelona, bringing you closer to the artisanal process of chocolate.

You will also be transported to the past, you will learn first hand how chocolate was consumed and drunk in the 17th century in Barcelona and you will be able to taste it in the most authentic way with our original formula.

The experience continues in the store where you can continue discovering and tasting the emblematic collections of the brand.
