Explore the Congost de Mont-rebei by kayak and return by boat: a unique adventure among cliffs and untamed nature
Enjoy an unforgettable experience that combines the thrill of kayaking with the comfort of a motorboat ride through one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Catalonia: the Congost de Mont-rebei. This activity allows you to explore the gorge at your own pace, paddling between its imposing vertical walls over 500 metres (1,640 feet) high, while immersing yourself in a pristine and protected natural environment.
The starting point is the Mont-rebei Explora jetty, where you will be provided with all the necessary equipment (life jacket, paddle, dry bag, and single or double kayak) and given a brief explanation of the route and safety instructions. Once on the water, you will paddle through the Canelles reservoir towards the heart of the gorge, passing through spectacular spots, small caves, areas of lush vegetation, and natural viewpoints that can only be seen from the water.
You will have plenty of time to paddle at a leisurely pace, stop to take photos, go for a swim, or simply soak up the tranquil surroundings. This activity is suitable for everyone, even those with no previous kayaking experience, and is ideal for couples, families, or groups of friends looking to unwind and connect with nature.
The route culminates in the narrowest and most spectacular part of the Congost, where the silence and majesty of the landscape will leave you speechless. There, our catamaran-style boat will pick you up and take you back to the pier. During the return trip, you can relax, take photos from a different perspective, and enjoy a leisurely cruise with panoramic views.
This combination of an outbound kayak trip and a return boat trip is perfect for those who want to enjoy the surroundings to the fullest without having to paddle the entire route. What's more, it avoids the fatigue of making the return trip and allows you to make better use of your time exploring the gorge.
It includes:
