We journey towards the horizon where the iconic Avenue of Palms signals our arrival at Seppeltsfield—a destination that feels more like a private kingdom than a vineyard. Within the monumental Centennial Cellar, history is liquid.

Beyond the vines, the estate is a vibrant Artisan Village. Breathe in the essential oils at Vasse Virgin, watch master artisans at the JamFactory, or grab a speciality brew at Octeine Cafe. It is a living cultural landmark where 170 years of history meet modern luxury.

We then cruise through Tanunda, the charming, “touristy” heart of the Barossa, soaking in the local buzz. If your tour falls on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, we make a legendary 10-minute pitstop at Barossa Browns. Here, you’ll try what are widely considered the best donuts in the region—a fleeting but sugary highlight!

Then we continues at Hemera Estate, where we explore bold, boutique reds in an intimate setting. From there, we transition to the rustic soul of the valley: Kies Family Wines. This is where the day slows down. You’ll enjoy a guided tasting of up to seven signature wines, followed by a gourmet lunch at their cosy on-site café, surrounded by rolling vineyard views and true Barossa hospitality.

As the afternoon sun mellows, we progress to the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company. This 15-minute visit is a whirlwind of handcrafted cocoa delights—perfect for a quick indulgence or a souvenir to take home.
