What you can expect

Forget the Brandenburg Gate. Step into the “real” Berlin. Join me for a walk through the hidden courtyards of Mitte, the legendary murals of Kreuzberg, and the industrial creative chaos of the RAW-Gelände. This is a deep dive into the city's rebellious DIY spirit, perfect for urban explorers and Instagrammers.

Berlin is a city that refuses to be “finished.” It is messy, vibrant, and constantly reinventing itself. In this tour, we leave the polished tourist traps behind to explore the spaces where Berlin’s underground heart still beats.

We start in Mitte, where luxury boutiques hide a secret: Haus Schwarzenberg. This courtyard is a time capsule of post-1989 Berlin, covered in ever-changing street art and home to independent galleries and a “monster cabinet.” It’s the perfect introduction to the city's alternative side.

Next, we hop on the U-Bahn or tram (a true local experience!) to Kreuzberg. You’ll see world-famous “Giant Murals” that tower over the area. I’ll share the stories of the artists who painted them and how this district became the centre of Europe’s punk and anarchist scenes.

We’ll then cross into the RAW-Gelände, a massive 19th-century train repair yard. Today, it’s an “urban jungle” of industrial ruins, climbing walls, and skate halls. We’ll stop at the Teledisko—the world's smallest disco in a phone booth—for a quick dance party.

Finally, we walk to the East Side Gallery. While everyone crowds around the famous “Kiss,” I’ll show you the hidden river-side views and the “hidden” art that most people walk right past.

Highlights
• Haus Schwarzenberg: Discover a hidden world of street art behind a secret door in Mitte.
• Kreuzberg’s Giants: See the “Astronaut” and “Yellow Men” murals up close.
• The RAW Experience: Explore a post-industrial playground of art and subculture.
• Teledisko: Get a 2-minute “rave” experience in a converted phone booth.
