Your experience begins with a guided walking tour through the historic city centre, starting at the iconic Avenida dos Aliados, where you’ll admire the grand architecture that defines the heart of Porto. Just ahead, you'll spot the striking Clérigos Tower, a city landmark. Along the way, your guide will highlight other must-see locations, including the famously ornate McDonald’s restaurant, considered one of the most beautiful in the world.

Next, we’ll visit the stunning São Bento Train Station, where you’ll learn about the history behind its impressive tile panels that depict key moments of Portuguese culture and heritage. From there, we’ll make our way up to the Sé Cathedral, one of the city's oldest monuments. We’ll take a short break here to enjoy sweeping views over the city and discover the storey of this iconic site (external visit only). The walk continues to the Fernandina Wall, where you can take in even more spectacular views.

Then, we’ll board our comfortable bus at Batalha Square and head across the river to Vila Nova de Gaia for a visit to a traditional Port wine cellar. Learn about the production process of Portugal’s world-famous wine and enjoy a tasting of three distinct Port wine varieties.

Afterwards, you’ll have free time for lunch in the area.

In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a relaxing one-hour Rabelo boat cruise along the Douro River. Take in the unique perspective of Porto’s stunning skyline and admire the six bridges that connect Porto and Gaia.

Once back on land, we’ll return to our bus and travel to Foz do Douro, one of the city’s most charming seaside areas. Here, you'll enjoy free time to explore, take in the ocean views, and see the Castelo do Queijo, a fortress overlooking the Atlantic.

We’ll end the tour with a panoramic drive through the modern Boavista district, passing landmarks like the Casa da Música and Serralves Park, before returning to the city centre, where the tour concludes.
