Our tour begins with set pickup points in the centre of Llandudno and Conwy. If you are more than a short walk from either, let us know when booking, and we will attempt to arrange a more convenient pickup point.

Start your day with a photo stop in front of the impressive 13th-century Caernarfon Castle. Then, drive into the mountains to Beddgelert, where you will learn of the legend of Gelert, the faithful hound.

Next, visit the National Trust’s Craflwyn to learn why there is a dragon on the Welsh flag. We stop here for a paned, which is Welsh for a nice hot cup of tea/coffee, which we provide for you. Take a scenic drive along the Gwynant Valley and over Pen Y Pass for stunning views of Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon).

Spend some time in Llanberis with a picnic on the shores of Llyn Padarn. We provide a picnic lunch, so you do not need to spend time and money looking for somewhere to eat. See the stunning views from Dolbadarn Castle and learn about the slate industry and its impact on the area. After lunch, visit the beautiful Nant Ffrancon valley where you can watch people descending the fastest zipline in the world.

Take in the classic glacial scenery and towering peaks of the Glyders and Tryfan. Finish off your day with a visit to Swallow Falls and Betws Y Coed before returning down the Conwy Valley.
