This tour is designed for travellers who want to see winter Bled properly, but at their own pace. We handle the transport from Ljubljana. We send you a detailed winter guidebook packed with local knowledge. As an add-on we rent you any winter gear you need. Then we get out of the way and let you shape the day around what you actually want to see.

Your winter guidebook

We email you a detailed digital winter guidebook the evening before your trip. Inside: the classic hike to the three iconic viewpoints above the lake (with GPX file), full winter safety advice, packing recommendations, and clear guidance on the icy Mala Osojnica staircase. Beyond the hike: which lakeside cafés serve mulled wine on heated terraces, where to find the actual best cream cake in winter, when to catch the Christmas atmosphere in Bled and dozens of tips only locals know.

How it works

Book your date, and we email you the guidebook and GPX file 24 hours before your trip. On the day, we pick you up in central Ljubljana at 07:00 and drive you to Bled — arriving around 08:00. From there, the day is yours. Walk the frozen lake shore, hike to Ojstrica for the postcard view, visit the snowy castle, warm up over cream cake and mulled wine, or just find a quiet terrace and watch the mountains change light. You build it. In the early afternoon, we will drive back to Ljubljana.

Why this instead of a guided tour

You explore at your own pace. No group waiting. No fixed schedule. If you want two hours on the Ojstrica summit waiting for the perfect light, do it.
