Overview

This is not a standard beer tasting, but a hands-on introduction to the art of blending Oude Geuze. At Oud Beersel, guests work with real Lambics selected from our own barrels and learn how age, wood, acidity and fermentation shape the final blend. Guided by our team, they taste, compare, blend, bottle and personalise their own creation. It is an authentic, small-scale experience that brings visitors closer to the craft, heritage and living tradition of Lambic brewing.

Have you always wanted to discover how Oude Geuze is created? During this interactive activity, you will get hands on and learn the craft together with our staff. We take you into the world of Lambic and show how different barrels each develop their own character and flavour profile. You will learn to recognise these differences through tasting, after which you will compose your own ideal Oude Geuze. From selecting the right Lambics to bottling and personalising your bottle, you go through the entire process and head home with a unique, self blended Oude Geuze.
