This day of discovery begins at the Maurice Aubert area within our BeFree2Dive centre located in the majestic Baie des Anges marina.
The meeting is at 8:30 AM for a detailed briefing and the distribution of equipment related to the activities: boat life jackets, and a snorkelling kit (fins, mask, snorkel, and wetsuit) for those who want to get in the water.
Don't forget your picnic, a bottle of water, a hat, and sun cream!
At 9:00 AM, you will board our fast, seaworthy RIB boat for a 2.5-hour cruise off the coast and the Pelagos sanctuary.
You may have the opportunity to encounter some mammals, birds, and other marine animals (dolphins, shearwaters, tuna, etc.), as well as discover the magnificent panorama of the Côte d'Azur and the Alps.
Our team is trained in best practices for observing marine animals https://whale-watching-label.com/
From around 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM, you will have the opportunity to eat near the Lérins Islands of Cannes or Cap d'Antibes (depending on weather conditions).
From 1:30 pm to around 2:45 pm, a guided snorkel hike will allow you to discover the coastal seabed in the company of one of our certified, passionate, and experienced instructors!
Sea stars, sea urchins, colourful fish, Posidonia… the Mediterranean holds a wealth that is often unknown to the general public, and many of these species are protected.
Finally, around 3 pm, the boat trip back along the coast will be an opportunity to show you the opulent villas as well as the ramparts of Antibes, a fortified city steeped in history since antiquity.
Drop-off at the marina harbour will be at 3:30 PM.
You can take advantage of our facilities to rinse off and freshen up before perhaps going for a drink or a snack at one of the many establishments in the Bay of Angels marina.
An unforgettable day at sea discovering yourself and the marine environment
