TWO BOOKING OPTIONS
- With Tickets Included: entrance tickets to all three castles are included in the price. You skip the ticket queues and pay nothing extra on site.
- Transport Only: the price covers private transport, pickup and drop-off in Brasov, and driver assistance. Entrance tickets are purchased separately by each guest at the castles.
Pickup is at 08:30 AM from Brasov in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle with onboard Wi-Fi and complimentary bottled water. Total duration: approx. 9-10 hours (depending on traffic and season).
The itinerary below applies Tuesday to Sunday. On Mondays the order changes because Bran Castle opens at 12:00 PM (see Monday schedule).
Important: Peles Castle interior is open Wednesday to Sunday only. On Mondays and Tuesdays, only the exterior and gardens can be visited.
BRAN CASTLE
Arrival: 09:00-09:30 (Tue-Sun) or 12:00-12:30 (Mon). Visit: approx. 1h30.
Built in 1388 to guard the mountain pass between Transylvania and Wallachia, Bran is Romania's most visited castle, known worldwide through the Dracula legend. Its medieval architecture and hilltop setting make it unmissable.
Departure towards Sinaia: approx. 10:30-11:00 (or 13:30 on Mondays).
PELES CASTLE (SINAIA)
Arrival: 12:00-13:00 (+/- 30 min). Visit: 1h30 to 2h.
Built 1873-1914 as the summer residence of King Carol I, Peles is one of Europe's most impressive royal residences, the first fully powered by electricity, with over 160 richly decorated rooms.
Interior open Wed 10:00-17:00, Thu-Sun 09:15-17:00. Mon-Tue: exterior and gardens only.
LUNCH BREAK IN SINAIA
45-60 minutes free time for lunch before continuing. Departure towards Busteni: approx. 15:30.
CANTACUZINO CASTLE (BUSTENI)
Arrival: 16:00-16:30. Visit: approx. 1h.
Built in 1911 by Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino, this Neo-Romanian palace offers spectacular Bucegi Mountains views and is known as the filming location for “Nevermore Academy” in the Netflix series Wednesday.
Open Mon-Thu 10:00-19:00, Fri-Sun 10:00-20:00.
RETURN TO BRASOV
Departure from Busteni: approx. 17:30-17:45. Arrival in Brasov: approx. 18:15-18:30.
