We will meet at the valley station of the Pfänderbahn at 12:45 PM and take the cable car uphill to the starting point of our hike. From the mountain station (1022 m), we take the time to make a short detour to the Pfänderturm (1064 m) and enjoy the view of Lake Constance. Then we will start our actual hike, mostly downhill on safe paths to the “Fluh” district (743m) with a view of the Vorderer Bregenzerwald. Once we arrive at the “Fluh”, there would be an opportunity for a short stop at a guest house (when open) if desired. We continue on a hidden path along the rockface at the “Känzele” to “Burg Hohenbregenz”. From there it's about half an hour's walk to the medieval Bregenz “Oberstadt”; we finish our hike at the “Leutbühl” in the middle of the “lower” town.
Total duration of the hike: approximately 3-4 hours.
