We are starting to explore the Bucharest city centre starting from its 0 km, just next to the Statue of the She-wolf. From here we walk through the old town and stop at the Old Princely Court and Church. Continue to the former Square of the Palace with the former Royal Palace and the Romanian Athenaeum and the present Revolution Square with the former headquarters of the Communist Party, the place of the Revolution in 1989.
Walking through the most historic boulevard, Calea Victorie we will see interesting built heritage from the time was named the little Paris of the East. After a short stop at Stavropoleos Church, near the History Museum, we cross the Dambovita River to explore the Civic Centre, the new centre built under the Communist Era. We conclude the walking tour in the Constitution Square, in front of the Palace of Parliament.
