Activity itinerary

Buda Castle (Pass by)

Perched on Castle Hill, Buda Castle dominates the skyline on the Buda side of the river. This historic palace complex was home to Hungarian kings for centuries and now houses museums and galleries. It’s beautifully lit at night and clearly visible from the boat.

Elisabeth Bridge (Pass by)

This sleek white suspension bridge connects the city across the Danube with a modern design that contrasts with Budapest’s historic architecture. Named after Queen Elisabeth (“Sisi”), it offers a beautiful view from the water, especially when lit up at night.

Gellert Hill (Pass by)

Rising high above the Danube, Gellért Hill offers panoramic views of the entire city. It’s home to the Citadel fortress and the Liberty Statue, both visible from the river. At night, the hill glows with lights and adds drama to the Buda skyline.

Rudas Baths (Pass by)

Built in the 16th century during the Ottoman era, Rudas Bath is one of Budapest’s oldest thermal spas. Its distinctive dome and riverside location make it easy to spot from the boat. The bath is still in use today, known for its healing waters and rooftop pool.

Liberty Bridge (Szabadsag hid) (Pass by)

This green steel bridge connects the Great Market Hall on the Pest side with Gellért Hill and the famous baths on the Buda side. Built in the late 19th century, it features ornate turrets and decorative elements, and it’s especially striking when illuminated at night.

Universita Corvinus Di Budapest (Pass by)

Housed in an elegant neo-Renaissance building along the Danube, Corvinus University is one of Hungary’s top institutions. Its grand facade faces the river near Liberty Bridge, making it a notable sight from the boat, especially when lit up in the evening.

Central Market Hall (Pass by)

This large, colourful building near the Liberty Bridge is Budapest’s oldest and most famous indoor market. Its Zsolnay-tiled roof and grand structure stand out along the river. Though not directly on the waterfront, it’s easily visible from the boat.

Chain Bridge Lion Statue's (Pass by)

Budapest’s most iconic bridge, the Chain Bridge links Buda and Pest with its grand stone arches and suspension chains. At each end stand massive stone lion statues, guarding the entrance since 1852. The bridge is beautifully illuminated in the evening.

Gresham Palace (Pass by)

A stunning example of Art Nouveau architecture, Gresham Palace sits at the foot of the Chain Bridge on the Pest side. Once an insurance company headquarters, it now hosts the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel and shines beautifully at night.

Hungarian Parliament Building (Pass by)

Travellers will get a stunning view of the Parliament Building from the river. This Gothic Revival masterpiece is one of Budapest’s most famous landmarks, with its grand dome, spires, and riverside location. It looks especially breathtaking when illuminated at night.

Margaret Bridge (Pass by)

This elegant yellow bridge connects Margaret Island with both sides of the city. From the boat, travellers can admire its unique Y-shape and iron structure, beautifully lit at night. It’s one of Budapest’s most iconic and historic bridges, completed in the 19th century.

Margaret Island (Pass by)

From the boat, travellers will enjoy panoramic views of Margaret Island, one of Budapest’s most peaceful green spaces. The island is located in the middle of the Danube and is famous for its parks, musical fountain, medieval ruins, and running track. It's especially beautiful at sunset.

Matthias Church (Pass by)

Travellers will spot the colourful roof and tall spire of Matthias Church high on the Buda side. This 13th-century Gothic church is a key landmark in the Castle District and stands next to Fisherman’s Bastion. Its illuminated facade is striking at night.

Halaszbastya (Pass by)

From the boat, guests can enjoy a postcard-perfect view of Fisherman’s Bastion, a fairytale-like terrace on the Buda side. With its white towers and panoramic lookout points, it offers stunning views over the city and is beautifully lit after dark.
