Immerse yourself in the world of biodynamic viticulture – right at the Demeter Rieger Winery on the Betberg, one of the oldest places in the Markgräflerland. This wine tasting is deliberately personal: no script, no rush – but with time, curiosity, and wine “as it should be”.
The tasting starts with a sparkling introduction and a look behind the scenes of the cellar. After that, it's time to delve into the depths of taste: you will taste 6–7 wines and get to know the style, origin, and signature of the winery. There is a special focus on two wines from old vines – wines from vines that have built up character and experience over decades and show this in the glass.
The tasting concludes with two masterpieces from the best sites: the most sophisticated and expressive wines of the house, awarded by Gault & Millau, Falstaff, and Eichelmann, among others. The winery team will personally accompany you and will be happy to answer any questions – whether about biodynamics, Demeter, the lunar calendar, grape varieties, or anything else that interests you about wine.
