Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo has a lot to offer: Its more than 70 different marine species include 300 sharks and rays in a 2,700-gallon (10 million-l) tank. Begin your experience with a safety briefing and gear rental; then it's time to step into the newly installed Perspex and metal cage and descend into the aquarium tank.

With the freedom of your lightweight snorkel gear, observe and interact with the marine life swimming all around you. Get close to some of the ocean's largest predators—grey reef sharks, cownose rays, and giant groupers. You're welcome to bring along your underwater camera and take a few snaps to make sure you remember this incredible experience.
