What you can expect

Set sail on a full-day reef fishing charter on the Great Barrier Reef. Target iconic species such as Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Large Mouth Nannygai, and Spanish Mackerel.

Travel approximately 90 minutes to reach the fishing grounds, which are within a 50-kilometer radius of Cairns. Be prepared to land fish up to 10kg or bigger, so hang on tight.

Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch around midday. After a fantastic day of fishing, return to the marina between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. Your catch will be cleaned, iced down, and bagged for you to take home or to your favourite restaurant for cooking.

The all-inclusive price* covers everything you need for your fishing charter: food, fishing gear, and port and reef taxes. Bottled water is provided for the day. Just bring a hat, sun cream, sunglasses, a camera, and cash to purchase drinks, or feel free to bring your own drinks (no glass and mid strength).

NB: A $40 per person fuel levy currently applies and is payable directly to the operator. A separate payment link will be emailed once the charter has been confirmed by the Master of the vessel.
