Daily departures are available from the port at 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 12:00 PM (7:30 AM departures operate from June 15 to September 30) for a scenic excursion in the Gulf of Orosei. During the day, the tour includes three beach stops.

The main beach stops are Cala Mariolu and Cala Sisine. Depending on navigation schedules, sea conditions, weather, and beach crowding, the captain may select a third beach stop. If Cala Mariolu is particularly crowded, the captain may choose to stop at Cala Gabbiani, a natural extension of Cala Mariolu.

Cala Goloritzè is located within a protected natural reserve and cannot be accessed by motorboats. However, the boat will stop near the restricted area, allowing guests to admire and photograph the famous natural arch.

Each beach stop lasts at least one hour. Access to the beaches is provided directly by the motorboat, either via a pier or by landing on the sandy shore, depending on the location.

Departures from Cala Gonone are operated by various vessels, generally accommodating between 100 and 150 passengers. The name of the assigned boat will be communicated at our ticket office.

During the cruise, guests will receive a complimentary cold drink and a traditional local dessert, included in the ticket price. Between stops, you can enjoy the spectacular coastline, photograph the Pools of Venus, and admire the Cormorants’ Cave from the boat.

Mini-Cruise with Bue Marino Cave

If you book the Mini-Cruise with Bue Marino Cave option, the boat will stop for a guided walking tour of the cave lasting approximately one hour. Cave tickets must be purchased separately in advance. The cave tour time must match the boat departure time, except for the 7:30 AM departure, for which the cave visit ticket must be booked for 3:00 PM.

Please note: During the low season, the cave visit may reduce the itinerary to two beach stops instead of three.

Recommended Departure

From July 1 to September 30, we recommend the 7:30 AM departure to enjoy less crowded beaches and, depending on navigation schedules, the possibility of an additional swimming stop.

Important: The later the departure, the less time you will spend at the first beach visited. Therefore, the total beach time may be reduced from approximately 7.5 hours to 6 or 5 hours.
