Discover the essence of Camacha on a unique walk that combines nature, tradition and local flavours.
The walk begins by the charming levadas, where vimieiros grow on the banks, offering a fascinating insight into how this plant has shaped the local culture. As we go along, we'll visit an old basket-making store, a real window into the past, where we'll learn about the ancient art of basketry.
Afterwards, we'll stop at a wickerwork store, where you can admire handcrafted pieces and understand the importance of this material to the region's identity.
