Campo Imperatore is much more than a mountain plateau: it is an immense natural set that, over the decades, has hosted Italian and international film productions that have become iconic. This guided tour will take you on a discovery of the places that have served as the backdrop for films such as The Name of the Rose, Ladyhawke, They Called Him Trinity, They Still Called Him Trinity, Keoma, The Tartar Steppe, The American, and many other productions.

As you travel through the extraordinary landscapes of the Gran Sasso, you'll discover how directors and set designers have transformed Campo Imperatore into an imaginary Middle Ages, the Wild West, legendary lands, and timeless settings. A storey that intertwines cinema, nature and behind-the-scenes curiosities, allowing you to see the area with fresh eyes.

During the day, there will be a stop at the famous Ristoro Mucciante, a landmark of the plateau and an ideal place to experience the authentic atmosphere of Campo Imperatore. A perfect experience for lovers of cinema, photography and high-altitude landscapes.
