Step into an 800-year-old Seljuk caravanserai and experience sound healing inside one of the most acoustically powerful spaces on the ancient Silk Road. Built in 1249 beneath a vast stone dome that has hosted Sufi whirling dervish ceremonies for generations, Saruhan Caravanserai offers a setting unlike any other sound healing venue in the world. This is the first and only dedicated sound therapy experience in Cappadocia and in Turkey.
The guided session lasts 40–45 minutes, with approximately 60 minutes spent at the venue in total. As you lie or sit comfortably beneath the historic dome, a trained practitioner takes you through a journey of carefully layered frequencies using traditional sound healing instruments — including Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes.
Feel the vibrations travel through the ancient stones, through the air, and through your body — calming the nervous system, slowing the breath, and easing stress, tension, and mental fatigue. No prior experience or training is needed. The session is open to all levels.
What makes this experience truly one of a kind is the sacred water ritual. During the session, a vessel of pure water rests beside you, absorbing the same vibrations that move through your body. At the end, this water is given to you to take with you. Sipped slowly in the hours that follow, it becomes a quiet extension of the ceremony — the healing doesn’t end when you leave the caravanserai, it continues with you.
