On this two-hour city tour, your German-speaking city guide, who lives near the posh suburb of Lisbon, will show you the highlights of the sophisticated seaside city Cascais. There are all sorts of stories to tell and secrets to discover:

We start our walking tour at the train station, see the most beautiful beaches and the popular beach promenade and look over the sea to Estoril and along the so-called Sunny Coast. We then stroll through the lively shopping streets and past the town hall, which is located directly on the sea, until we get to the mighty Citadela fortress high above the yacht harbour/marina.

What a mix of centuries-old history, current politics and art! Passing stately villas and a photogenic lighthouse, we get to the almost enchanted Marechal Carmona city park. Through the narrow and winding streets of the historic old town we then return to the city centre with its inviting swimming bay.
