Day 1: Ulaanbaatar – Kharakhorum
Depart from Ulaanbaatar and travel west to Kharakhorum, the legendary capital of the Great Mongol Empire during the 13th century. Explore the historic Erdene Zuu Monastery and Museum, once Mongolia’s largest Buddhist centre before it was heavily damaged during the political purges of the 1930s.
Visit the ancient Turtle Rock and the famous Phallic Rock while learning about Mongolia’s fascinating history and cultural heritage. Overnight at a ger guesthouse near Kharakhorum.

Day 2: Elsen Tasarkhai Semi-Desert
After breakfast, continue to Elsen Tasarkhai, known as the “Mini Gobi.” This unique semi-desert combines sand dunes, grasslands, and mountains in one spectacular location.
Enjoy a memorable camel riding experience across the dunes and experience authentic Mongolian nomadic hospitality. Spend the night in a traditional ger with a local nomadic family.

Day 3: Khogno Khan Natural Reserve - Ulaanbaatar
Travel to Khogno Khan Natural Reserve, a protected area covering 46,900 hectares and featuring a remarkable mix of mountains, forests, steppes, and Gobi-style landscapes. The granite formations of Khogno Khan Mountain date back to the Paleozoic era.
Enjoy horse riding through this beautiful natural setting before returning to Ulaanbaatar in the afternoon.
