The Marelle Comedy Festival is back this summer for a second edition that promises to be even better. After the success of the first year, the festival is back every Friday and Saturday at 9 PM at the Chantier de la Garonne, with a simple promise: to make Bordeaux laugh all summer, in a unique setting.
Here, you don't just come to see stand-up. You're coming to experience a real moment. An hour and a half of comedy club with a view of the Garonne, the sun setting slowly, and an atmosphere that builds with each performance. The kind of evening where everything comes together: the setting, the people, and especially the laughter.
On stage, it's very solid. The festival brings together some of the biggest names in stand-up comedy in France, with artists such as Élie Semoun, Camille Lellouche, Nordine Ganso, and Thomas Angelvy, and many other surprises. Headliners, established comedians, but also rising talents, in a fast-paced format where each act brings its own world and energises the room.
With its 400 seats, the festival maintains the intimacy typical of comedy clubs while offering a programme worthy of the big stages.
It's this mix that makes all the difference: you can see stand-up stars just a few metres away, in a relaxed atmosphere, almost like at home… but much funnier.
The Marelle Comedy Festival is clearly the summer event for all those who like to laugh, enjoy evenings on the banks of the Garonne, and discover the best of today's stand-up comedy. Whether you're a regular or just curious, one thing is for sure: you're going to have a great evening… and probably want to come back the next day.
