What you can expect

  • A piece of sushi, a moment of peace.
More than just a sushi class — this is an exclusive private sushi experience in the elegant city of Ashiya.
Located only 15–30 minutes from Osaka and Kobe, Ashiya is one of Japan's most prestigious areas, offering a serene escape far from the chaotic tourist crowds.

Learn from a Master, Not a Performer
Step into a quiet, authentic Japanese home and learn directly from a former professional sushi chef with over 40 years of experience. This is a rare opportunity to go beyond a simple recipe. You will gain a professional’s perspective on:
・The Art of Selection: How master chefs identify and source high-quality seasonal fish.
・Balance & Intent: The secret to balancing flavours and shaping each piece with professional intention.
・Authentic Techniques: Learn the same refined movements used in Japan’s top-tier sushi restaurants.

The Feast: 20+ Pieces of Premium Sushi
In this class, we don't just “snack”—we dine. You will work with premium, restaurant-grade fish and craft your own sushi.

・A Full Meal: Most guests enjoy 20+ pieces of sushi in total.
・Craft & Taste: Your experience includes the pieces you practice making, followed by a final, beautifully arranged set prepared together with the chef.
・Unmatched Quality: We use only high-quality seafood, ensuring your meal rivals the best sushi-ya in the city.

    Small. Private. Personal.
There is no rush and no “tourist performance.” We offer a deep, personal connection to Japanese culinary culture in a cosy setting. Whether you are a solo traveller or a group, this time is dedicated exclusively to you.
