8:30–11:30 Visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding
Arrive in the morning when pandas are most active.Spread across a green hillside,the base mimics natural panda habitats with bamboo groves,shady trails,and roomyenclosures.You will see giant pandas of all ages -tiny cubs in the nursery,playful sub-adults wrestling,and adults lazily chewing bamboo.There’s also a chance to spot red pandas darting through the trees.

13:00–14:10 Drive to Dujiangyan

14:10–16:30 Tour Dujiangyan Irrigation System
Spend about 2h-2.5 h visiting the beautifully landscaped ancient engineering site. Highlights include the Fish Mouth levee that splits the Min River,the Flying Sand Weir spillway,and the Bottle-Neck Channel carved through a mountain.Cross the dramatic Anlan Suspension Bridge and visit Erwang Temple,dedicated to the builders.
