Begin being collected at your Chiang Mai hotel, you will be taken to Wat Chai Mongkol to start a leisurely 30 minute long-tail boat cruise along the Mae Ping River. Travelling along the river you will pass both old-world wooden houses and modern homes of today, all in keeping with the colourful surroundings and the day-to-day lifestyle of the local people. In time you'll stop at a local farm house to take a leisurely stroll around the grounds.

Continue on to Waroros Market, to see and feel the real northern people's way of life and much more. In order to feel more about it, we take a tricycle ride along the main road to the old city. Then come to the town's main temple, Wat Prasingh (A.D.1345), which houses a very old and sacred Buddha image, Phra Singh. The temple contains supreme examples of Lanna art at Viharn Lai Kham. On the inner walls of the Viharn Lai Kham are some murals of two fables.
