Your cyberpunk city tour begins at the Yangtze River Cable Car. This is the world’s only cable car that spans a city river. It takes just five minutes to reach Longmenzhan on the south bank. Along the way, you can enjoy panoramic views of Dongshuimen Bridge, the Huguang Guild Hall, and the Nanbin skyline.

The cable car then descends southward, taking you to Longmenhao Ancient Street. Backed by Nanshan Mountain and facing the Yangtze River, the blue-tiled stone steps exude an ancient charm. Strolling through this area feels like stepping back in time: the atmosphere of the Song Dynasty is captured in the teahouses, and as dusk falls, the lights of the cable car reflect on the water, evoking the feel of old photographs of Chongqing.

Next, you’ll visit the Li Zi Ba Monorail Building, where the train passes through a residential tower. Metro Line 6 emerges from an 18-story apartment building; from the observation deck, you can see the silver train whizzing through the residential complex, seamlessly blending with the architecture to create the “Impossible Triangle” optical illusion.

Next, we’ll arrive at the Crown Escalator—the world’s longest outdoor one-way escalator. This sci-fi-like escalator unfolds the views of the bridge and the Yangtze River like a scroll. Gliding freely between the worlds of “port and commerce” adds another layer of depth to the experience.

Next, you’ll arrive at Kuixing Tower. The eaves of this “Top Scholar Tower” seem poised to take flight at any moment—it’s a prime vantage point overlooking Jiefangbei, where the crowd below looks like ants, and history and modernity intertwine into a vivid tableau.

After a short break, you’ll visit the Erchang Cultural and Creative Park, where you’ll feel as though you’ve travelled through time: rust-stained red brick walls, weathered stone steps, and an ancient iron bridge all preserve the remnants of 1937. With over 50 creative shops, the park perfectly captures the unique cyberpunk romance of Chongqing’s “time-traveling street food”!

Afterwards, you can choose to visit “131 Observation Deck” or “Cloud Eye Observation Deck.”
At the “131 Observation Deck,” you’ll ride an observation lift and experience the thrill of a vertical rocket launch! After dark, the area transforms into a cyberpunk-style paradise.
Depending on your itinerary, you can also skip 131 and head straight to the “Cloud Eye Observation Deck.”

Next up is the Qiansimen Bridge. As night falls, thousands of lights twinkle, and the stilt houses on the bridge sparkle. With a gentle breeze caressing your cheeks, this is a must-visit spot for a nighttime stroll.

The final stop on the itinerary is Hongya Cave—this 11-story tower is dazzlingly lit, bringing scenes straight out of Avatar to life before your eyes. Noodle Street, Hot Pot Street, the lift maze, and ghost stories—this is the ultimate destination for a night out.
