Kuixinglou

Originally built in 1725 during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, near the Confucius Temple by Fuzichi, it was a sacred place for scholars to pray for literary fortune. However, it was demolished in 1953 due to dilapidation. In the 1990s, during the renovation of the Linjiangmen area, it was relocated and expanded to its current site. What makes Kuixing Tower truly fascinating is its magical terrain. The ground - floor plaza and the plaza on the 22nd floor are connected, creating an optical illusion where you think you are on the 1st floor, but in fact, you are on the 22nd floor. The suspended bridge between the two high - rise buildings, about 65 metres above the ground, offers a stunning view of the Jialing River and the cityscape. It was also a filming location for the film Better Days, which has attracted many fans to check in.

Jiefangbei Square

As Chongqing’s iconic landmark, the Liberation Monument (officially People's Liberation Monument) is the only monument in China commemorating the victory of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. Nestled in the heart of Yuzhong District’s bustling pedestrian street, it blends profound history with vibrant modernity, making it a must-visit for every traveller. Originally built in 1941 as the "Spiritual Fortress" to boost national morale during the war, it was reconstructed in 1947 as the "Monument to the Victory of the War of Resistance". In 1950, it was renamed by Liu Bocheng, bearing witness to the nation’s struggle and liberation. This 27.5-meter-tall octagonal structure, with clocks on its top, is a national key cultural relic protection unit and a symbol of Chongqing’s resilience.

Tongyuan Gate Park

At Tongyuan Gate, you will see one of the remaining ancient city gates of old Chongqing. You can walk along the restored city wall, explore the stone archway, and observe traditional architectural details that reflect the city’s long history. The area also offers great views of the surrounding old streets and hillside areas, giving a strong sense of how Chongqing once looked centuries ago. It’s a quiet, atmospheric place perfect for photos and learning about the city’s past.

Liziba Station

Then we will take the subway to Liziba station, this is also a social media sensation, attracting many people come here to take photos and videos because you can witness the magical sight of the light rail passing through residential buildings. Danzishi Old Street Scenic Area

At Danzishi, you can stroll through a lively riverside area filled with renovated old streets, cafés, and local shops. This area sits on a high riverside slope and is known as one of the best places in Chongqing to enjoy the night view. From here, you can see the brightly lit skyline, river bridges, and city reflections shimmering on the water.
