We would like to warmly welcome you to our concert on July 4, 2026 at 7:30 PM in the beautiful Barocksaal Tegernsee!
With our programme “Nordic Moods,” we invite you on a musical journey to the north of Europe. With works by Jean Sibelius, Edvard Grieg, and the piano trio by Rebecca Clarke as the central work, as well as two Finnish tangos, we aim to connect different national traditions, soundscapes, and eras. What these works have in common is a special affinity with that Nordic atmosphere that is often associated with vastness, closeness to nature, melancholy, and poetic introspection. The “Nordic tone” is evident not only in folkloric echoes, but also in the sonic language, the emotional depth, and the characteristic alternation between calm contemplation and passionate expression.
The ECK Trio brings together three female musicians who share a passion for chamber music and intensive tonal work in an ensemble: violinist Elisabeth Krauß, cellist Katharina Barany, and pianist Anna Nam-Winkler.
The ensemble was formed when the three musicians met in Munich's music scene. What initially began as a musical collaboration quickly developed into a permanent chamber music partnership. Since then, the Trio has devoted itself with great passion to the classical repertoire for piano trio, complemented by its own arrangements and thematically designed programmes.
