What you can expect

  • Day 1: Arrival in Cochin—Munnar (130 km / 4 hours)
    Arrive at Cochin International Airport or Railway Station and transfer to Munnar, a beautiful hill station in the Western Ghats. Enjoy a scenic drive through misty hills and lush greenery.
    En route, stop at Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls for photo breaks. Enjoy views of sprawling tea plantations along the way. Check in to your hotel or resort and relax. Overnight stay in Munnar.

    Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing (Nature & Leisure)
    After breakfast, visit Mattupetty Dam for panoramic views and optional boating. Continue to the Tea Museum to learn about the history and process of tea production in Kerala.
    Visit Echo Point and Kundala Lake for peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring local markets or relaxing at the hotel. Overnight stay in Munnar.

    Day 3: Munnar–Thekkady (110 km / 4 hours)
    After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, a peaceful hill town surrounded by plantations. Check in to your hotel or resort. Visit a spice plantation to learn about the cultivation of cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and other spices. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kalaripayattu martial arts show, showcasing Kerala’s rich cultural heritage. You may also explore local markets at your own pace. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

    Day 4: Thekkady–Alleppey (160 km / 5 hours)
    After breakfast, drive to Alleppey, famous for its scenic backwaters.
    Check in to a traditional houseboat and enjoy a leisurely cruise through tranquil canals, palm-lined waterways, and village landscapes. All meals—lunch, evening tea or coffee with snacks, and dinner—are served on board. Relax and enjoy the calm surroundings. Overnight stay on the houseboat.

    Day 5: Alleppey–Cochin (Departure) (85 km / 1.5 hours)
    After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive back to Cochin.
    If time permits, explore Fort Kochi, including the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and Santa Cruz Basilica. Visit Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) and the historic Jewish synagogue. Transfer to Cochin International Airport, hotel, or railway station for your onward journey.
