Know before you book

    • Classic Route: First departure from Stop 1 at 9:30am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 4:30pm. Duration: 90 minutes. Frequency: every 35 minutes. Home of Carlsberg Route: Departs from Stop 12 at 11:15am, 1:15pm and 3:15pm. Duration: 45 minutes
    • Colourful Route: Departs from Stop 1 Ved Stranden at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Duration: 55 minutes. Cruise Bus Express Route: First and last tour is dependant on cruise ship day
    • Mobile and paper vouchers are accepted on this tour. Customers will need to exchange their onboard ticket for their hop-on hop-off ticket with the City Sightseeing staff or bus driver upon boarding. Vouchers can be used any day within 12 months of travel date selected at check-out
    • Boat Tour Tour (if appropriate ticket is selected):
    • Boat tour departs from Ved Stranden 26 and Nyhavn 3. Duration: 1 hour. Operating hours differ each month, please check locally for more information. Please go to the ticket house before the boat tour to redeem your ticket. Audio commentary available on-board
    • Weather-appropriate clothing recommended for open or partially covered boats. Boats are open during summer, and covered and heated in winter
    • If you are docking at Langeliniekaj, you can join the Classic Route from stops 6, 7, and 8 (only in use when there is a cruise ship in port). If you are docking at Nordre Toldbod, you will be able to join the tour from Stop 4, the Gefion Fountain, which is about 200 metres away
    • If you are docking at Oceankaj, there is a short transfer by sightseeing shuttle (included), which will drop you off at The Little Mermaid. You can join the Classic Route from here
    • Customers are able to use the red City Sightseeing buses, and also the green Hop-On Hop-Off buses. Unfortunately, the buses are not wheelchair accessible. Guests need to navigate a number of steps to reach the top deck of the bus
