National Monument

The National Monument was built to recognise and honour those who gave up their lives in the cause for peace and freedom, particularly during the nation's struggle against the threat of communism. Within the National Monument grounds is one of the world's largest free-standing bronze sculptures. It was sculpted in 1966 by Felix de Weldon, who was also the creator of the famous Iwo Jima monument in Washington DC.
Malaysian Houses of Parliament (Pass by)

Merdeka Square

The Merdeka square is located exactly opposite the sultan Abdul Samad building and right beside the royal Selangor club. This is the historical place where the union flag was lowered and the Malayan flag was raised for the very first time at the struck of midnight of 31st august 1957. Jamek Mosque

Jamek Mosque, officially sultan abdul samad jamek mosque, is one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak River and may be accessed via Jalan tun Perak. The mosque was designed by Arthur benison hubback, and built in 1909. Masjid Jamek served as Kuala Lumpur's main mosque. The mosque has a Moorish architecture.
Central Market Kuala Lumpur

It is a fine example of the 1930s Art Deco style with a stepped entrance design, unifying elements at the windows and doors as well as wrought iron panels. This covered walkway (formerly known as Lorong Kasturi or Kasturi Lane) offers a variety of handicrafts, souvenir items and street food.

Sin Sze Si Ya Temple (Pass by)
Built by Kapitan Cina Yap Ah Loy, this is the oldest Taoist temple in the city with a history dating back to 1864. The temple features an ornate interior and elaborate roof ridges. Sin Sze Si Ya Temple pays tribute to the deities of Sin Sze Ya and Si Sze Ya. The oracles of the former were said to have guided Yap Ah Loy during the Selangor Civil War. Sin Sze Si Ya Temple occupies a rather unusual position and angle. This location is believed to have been determined by ‘feng shui’ or Chinese geomancy.

With its completion, the exchange 106 skyscraper has officially dethroned the PETRONAS twin towers, at 452m, as the tallest in Malaysia.
