Had an enjoyable tour in the capable hands of our guide Eddie who was knowledgeable and easy to get on with. Comfortable minibus for the length of trip and all ran to time. Saw and tasted interesting things!

Vinh was a great guide. Really looked after us and everything was seamless. He’s very knowledgeable as well and it was only a small group of 7. Cu Chi tunnels is really interesting. Definitely a must do.

What a great day. We had Ele as our tour guide. Great English and very informative. It’s a king day but doesn’t feel like it. We started with a 1.5 hour drive to the tunnels. We stopped on the way for a toilet break and to see some pictures being made. Be prepared to spend money. Even a small picture is £30. Then we went to the tunnels. These where great. And then we had lunch here. It was lovely. Beef, chicken, noodles, spring rolls. Then it was a 2 hour drive to the Mekong river. It didn’t feel like 2 hours. And the van was very comfortable. It was nice to have a rest. The van had WiFi too. When we arrived at the river we got a boat over to the island. Here were saw a bee hive and got to sample the honey and tea. Again be prepared to spend money. I think we got a few bits and spend £15. Then we tried banana wine and some snake wine. I didn’t. Then we got an electric car around the island. From this island to another where we saw where they use everything on a coconut for various reasons. Be prepared to spend more money again. We spent £10. But got lots of things. From here it was on a long tail boat. This was lovely and relaxing. Take a small note to tip the person rowing the boat. They are very open about this. The other places take card payments. So just take enough to tip the boat and the guide ele. He was great and they really don’t get paid enough if you think about how much the trip costs and everything that’s included. All in all we spent £60 on card and 50,000 for the boat and 50,000 for ele. We then had another 1.5 hours back to the hotel. It does seem like a lot of driving but it didn’t feel it. We saw a lot of things which we couldn’t have seen had it not been for the excursion and guide. We only had 3 nights in Saigon/HCM. So this was worth it.

A great way to see two favorites just outside of the city. Ride in a nice and comfortable van in a small group with a guide and driver. The tunnels are fascinating and tell a story dating back to French colonization. Lunch was included and then off to the delta. This tour squeezed in a river cruise, snake wine, local singers, fresh coconuts and a local canoe trip! There is a little travel time between stops, but it was a great time to catch a nap. Book today!
