Discover one of the most fascinating sides of La Paz on an experience that combines history, culture, traditions, architecture, and the city's spectacular cable cars.
Our tour begins at the General Cemetery, one of the most interesting places in the city to learn about La Paz's history from a different perspective. As we stroll through some of its most iconic areas, we'll discover mausoleums, historical figures, funerary art, traditions, and some of the customs related to death that are part of La Paz's cultural identity.
We'll then take one of La Paz's famous cable cars to head to the Historic Centre. This journey will be an important part of the experience: as we travel above the city, we'll be able to see from above how La Paz stretches out between mountains, hillsides, and buildings, and how its different areas adapt to one of the most unique urban geographies in South America.
Upon arriving at the Historic Centre, we'll start a walking tour of some of La Paz's most iconic and outstanding sites. We'll visit historical sites, squares, churches, heritage buildings, and other places that have played a key role in different periods of the city's history.
The experience will also give you an insight into the city from an everyday perspective: how its inhabitants live, how its areas are connected, what its traditions are, and why La Paz has such a distinctive cultural identity.
An ideal experience for those who want to discover La Paz beyond the typical sights, combining a cultural, historical, and urban tour with the experience of travelling on one of the city's most iconic transport systems.
