We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:20 AM and leave the city of Cusco behind as we head into the stunning Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Ready to discover some of its most fascinating hidden gems?
Our first stop will be Maras, a charming Andean village surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, and the namesake of the nearby Maras Salt Mines. We'll head to a viewpoint where you can admire these impressive salt terraces and learn about their history during a one-hour visit.
Dating back to Inca times, these salt ponds have dramatically shaped the local landscape!
After this unique experience, we'll continue on to the archaeological site of Moray. Located at an altitude of over 3,500 metres (11,500 feet), this site is famous for its circular agricultural terraces, which resemble an amphitheatre.
Did you know the Incas used it as an experimental agricultural centre? We'll explore the site for about an hour and uncover the secrets of its advanced agricultural techniques.
Finally, we'll begin our journey back to Cusco. Around 2:30 PM, we’ll drop you off near the main square (Plaza de Armas), right in the heart of the city, where the tour ends.
