What you can expect

Begin your tour with a visit to Gorée Island, where you’ll explore the Slave House, Castelnau Square, Saint-Charles-Borromée Church, the Historical Museum, and Fort d’Estrées. Climb to the Castel for panoramic views, and enjoy free time to browse local crafts and take photos.

Next, head to city centre Dakar and the Cap-Vert Peninsula. Visit the Mosque of the Divinity, the African Renaissance Monument, and the Mamelles Lighthouse.

On the second day, visit Lake Retba, also known as the Pink Lake, to see its unique colour. Take a vehicle or quad tour around the lake, enjoy a pirogue ride, and meet salt collectors. Swim and experience floating in the lake, then explore the dunes and beach, capturing the stunning landscapes with your camera.
